General Eye Examination
The general eye examination carried out in Dünyagöz consists of 7 stages.
Stages of an eye examination:
- Checking visual acuity
- Examination for the need for glasses (refraction test)
- Eyelid examination
- Examination of the eye muscles
- Measurement of eye pressure
- Biomicroscopic examination
- Examination of the fundus
The general eye examination takes about 30 minutes.
How often should a general eye examination be done?
Even in the absence of vision problems, a thorough eye examination every year will allow you to continue to see well and have healthy eyes for many years. Thanks to a comprehensive eye examination, early diagnosis of diseases such as diabetes, brain tumor, AIDS, Alzheimer's disease, hypertension, blood and heart diseases, metabolic disorders, and Parkinson's disease is possible.
Remember to have a general eye examination once a year to protect the health of your eyes.
