PRK (PHOTOREFRACTIVE KERATECTOMY)
Photorefractive Keratectomy, known as PRK, is a type of laser eye surgery that corrects myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism. Instead of creating a flap, in this technique, the surgeon removes epithelium (the surface layer of the cornea) and corrects the refractive errors in the same way as Lasik.
