Eat salmon and tuna for eye health

Surgeon Dr. Umut Efe Güner claims that it is good for eye health to consume the right doses of omega-3 oils found in fish, and also said that salmon and tuna in particular can give a healthy glow to the eyes.

Green vegetables are also good for the eyes

Dr. Umut Efe Güner said that with a healthy and proper diet, one can achieve a radiant appearance, as well as prevent diseases such as macular degeneration, age-related retinal wear, cataracts, and glaucoma, and also added: “Green vegetables such as spinach, broccoli, kale, green peppers, and cucumbers can help prevent many vision problems due to their antioxidants, lutein, zeaxanthin, beta-carotene, vitamins A, C, E, and K, calcium, zinc, and iron. At the same time, yellow and orange fruits such as peach, carrot, lemon, mango, papaya, orange, and apricot are very effective foods against cataracts and macular degeneration due to the content of carotene and vitamin C.”
