Born in 1957 in Of, Trabzon, Eray Kapıcıoğlu started a construction business in 1988 after trading construction materials for many years. He completed numerous construction projects before he entered the healthcare industry in the early 1990s by founding the Avrupa Hospital and Metropolitan Hospital. Predicting that the future of the healthcare industry lay in branch hospitals, Eray Kapıcıoğlu opened Dünyagöz Hospital, Turkey's first branch hospital, in 1996. The first Dünyagöz Hospital was located in Levent and in just 6 months exceeded its full capacity thanks to the high demand of patients from all around Turkey. Building on this success, Eray Kapıcıoğlu continued with investments at full speed and created the world's largest eye hospitals group.

Eray Kapıcıoğlu is active in the construction industry as owner of the construction company Kapıcıoğlu İnşaat and is building a thermal power plant in Adana with Emba Elektrik, which he founded in partnership with the Chinese government.

Married with four children, Mr. Kapıcıoğlu wants to share his experience and knowledge with his children, who are supporting him in their managerial roles at Dünyagöz and Kapıcıoğlu İnşaat, for the purpose of maintaining and reinforcing his leading positions in these industries for many years to come.

Born in Istanbul in 1969, Adem Esgün is married with 2 children. After completing his education, Mr. Esgün founded a construction company, worked in managerial positions for many years and did trade. He was Deputy General Manager at Avrupa Hospitals between 1992 and 1995. After the hospital was transferred, he was assigned as CEO at Dünyagöz Hospitals Group in 1996 and has been Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors since 2014.

Tezcan Yaramancı completed his first master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Hannover Technical University in 1966 and his second master's degree in business administration at the same university in 1968. He started his career as a specialist in 1968 at Koç Holding's Industrial Coordination Directorate and worked at Koç Holding for many years. In 1992, Tezcan Yaramancı was appointed as CEO and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Turkish Airlines (THY). In 1993, he was appointed as the President of the State Partnership Administration. He was a Managing Director at Hürriyet Gazetecilik ve Matbaacılık A.Ş. and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at Doğan Holding in 1994. In 1996, he founded INVESTA A.Ş. to offer strategic consultancy services, became a partner of EVG Yatırım A.Ş. and acted as Chairman of the Board of Directors in both companies. He is a member of TÜSİAD (Turkish Industry and Business Association), DEİK (Foreign Economic Relations Board), Turkish American Business Association, Istanbul Rotary Club, Turkish Economic and Social Studies Foundation and similar professional organizations. He was named an "Honorary Commander of the British Empire" by the Queen of Great Britain.

Demet Kapıcıoğlu graduated from the Department of Business Administration, Işık University, in 2002. She started her professional business life in project management at Kapıcıoğlu İnşaat. She then worked in the accounting and operations department of Dünyagöz Hospitals Group, continuing her career as a candidate manager. Currently she is a Member of the Board of Directors at Dünyagöz Hospitals Group and Vice President of Dünya Eye Foundation.

Demet Kapıcıoğlu is also a Member of the Board of Directors at the Young Businessmen Association (GYİAD).

As a graduate of Istanbul Technical University, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Gülferi Yıldırım was specialized in biomedical technologies and then completed her master's degree in Business Administration at Yeditepe University. She started her professional life at American Summit Technologies Inc. and was on the team which introduced laser therapies to get rid of glasses in Turkey. Gülferi Yıldırım ran a private eye clinic in 1993-1994 and was involved in the founding efforts of Dünyagöz Hospital in 1995, giving the brand its name. From 1996 to 2012, she actively managed the Group's marketing, communication and sales activities in addition to all operational processes. Since 2012, she has been guiding the company's vision and activities as a member of the Board of Directors. She is the founder of the Nishdecor brand, manufacturer of custom-made wall paper, a project that she developed with artists and graphic designers. She is also a founding member of the ZihinRuhBeden platform, which organizes festivals and training activities with the mission of sharing knowledge and experience in leadership and personal development with large masses of people and improving people's quality of life and professional performance. She is doing social work under the Dünya Eye Foundation for the education of visually impaired children. Gülferi Yıldırım has a son, Can Berk, and says that her purpose in life is to produce and manage projects that make the world a better place, in collaboration with people who work and live happily and believe in self-development and collaboration.

Born in Develi, Kayseri in 1955, Yusuf AKÇA graduated from Ankara School of Finance in 1972 after his primary and secondary education and from Ankara Academy of Economics and Trade Sciences in 1978. He started to work at the Ministry of Finance in 1972. After working as a State Accounting Specialist, he worked at various state institutions under the Ministry of Finance (Istanbul Healthcare Institutions, schools, Turkish War Colleges) as Head of Accounting from 1978-2004 and as Head of the Budget Office at Istanbul University from 1988-2004. He was Secretary General of Istanbul University from 2005 to 2013 and he resigned from this position by his own will on 23 January 2013.

He completed his master's degree and PhD in Finance at the Institute of Social Sciences, Istanbul University. In 1993, he earned his doctorate degree with his thesis titled "State Accounting System (Structure, Functioning, Relationship with the Budget and Problems)". He is married with two children.

His publications include "Bütçe ve Devlet Muhasebesi" (1996), "YÖK ve İÜ Mevzuatı" (1997), "Kamu İhale Mevzuatı" (2003), "İstanbul Üniversitesi Dünden Bugüne İstatistik Veriler" (2006), "İstanbul Üniversitesi Bilgi Bankası", "Yüksek Öğretim Bilgi Bankası" and "İstanbul Üniversitesi Yönetmelikler" (2010).

He has also published two poetry books: "Bir Dost Arıyorum" (2002) and "Gül Elması" (2007).

He was a member of the Board of Trustees at Elginkan Foundation from 2005 to 2013 and has been a member of the Board of Directors at TOSYÖV since 2011, a member of the Board of Trustees at Dünyagöz Foundation since 2011, a member of the Board of Directors at Dünyagöz since 2013 and is currently Counselor to the President of Abdullah Gül University.

He is also the President of the Society of Istanbul University Graduates.

Vahit Kapıcıoğlu graduated from the Department of Business Administration (English) of Bahçeşehir University in 2009 and started his career in project development and management in 2010. In 2011, Mr. Kapıcıoğlu became Deputy General Manager and entered the energy sector, which was gaining importance, in 2011 as a founding partner of Emba Elektrik Üretim A.Ş. Also a founder of the Dünya Eye Foundation, Vahit Kapıcıoğlu acted as the foundation's vice president for one year. Currently, Vahit Kapıcıoğlu is the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kapıcıoğlu İnşaat and an active executive at Emba Elektrik Üretim A.Ş.
